It's too late for him as he is in between a rock and a hard place. As long as he is President, he is unlikely to be charged but if he is impeached, or when he stops being President, he is open for prosecution. I feel sorriest for his youngest son. No matter what, he is always going to be the offspring of Donald Trump. One of the the biggest lowlifes to ever walk the earth. Imagine having to see and hear about all the things dear old Dad has done. He may not believe it now but as he gets older, well let's just say we hope the kid uses his Dad as a reverse barometer and chooses to behave opposite to his father. Also hope that those airhead other kids get there due as well. They are in it up to their necks. I have a feeling that the ending is going to be Trump resigning probably in exchange for some string pulling regarding his kids and himself. Nothing would please me more than to see a lifetime of deceit and bullying rewarded by some jail time. It probably won't happen but I can dream.WestCoastJoe wrote: Tue Aug 21, 2018 7:38 pm Not a surprise.
I had speculated that Trump should have stayed with his businesses. He did not expect to win the Presidency. Be careful what you wish for. And now he lives a life without freedom and without privacy.
About the worst that could happen to him legally is impeachment, removed from office.
Can he survive and serve out his term of Presidency? Hard to say. It depends on the Republican controlled Congress. And that could change with the upcoming midterms.
I do not hate the man. Not good for the hater. But you reap what you sow. A lot of those senior citizens who bought the bogus Trump University scam are feeling some payback tonight.

The judge has received threats. He is worried about the jurors, and will not reveal their names.

Whether we like Omarasa or not, I'd can't argue with what I see on TV every day that she is not right - at least with Trump's base!Omarosa Manigault, who appeared in 75 episodes over three seasons of Trump’s hit reality television show “The Apprentice,” believes Trump was “spectacular” in the debate. The die-hard Democrat who jokingly said she has “Hillary Clinton tattooed on my left arm,” also said that “there’s a different analysis and metrics you have to use” when analyzing the Big Apple billionaire’s appeall.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/po ... 948315d05f“Reality television has now taken over television. People want to see real moments and see life unfold in front of them. Not scripted, but real moments,” Omarosa said. When I pushed back and asked whether the reality TV ethos should be bleeding into presidential politics, she set me straight.
“[W]hen you have a big reality TV star as the front-runner for the Republican nomination there is no way to separate it. This is the new reality. Donald Trump is the front-runner and you have to deal with everything that comes with it,” Omarosa said. “He’s going to have to give his position on serious issues and he may also call people pigs but that’s part of the Trump thing that comes with the package.”
