I wonder if the timing of this has anything to do with Arceneaux.
Either way, good to hear he's back. He's got another good season in him.

A little ambivalent about the signing, TBH.
JR produced when he got the ball and didn't complain publicly about a lack of touches. But I was really hoping that we'd get to see a rotation of Lee, Messam and Davis in 2011 as the feature backs.
Competition is good, I suppose.

I really started to appreciate Roberston when late in the season we started using him in the passing game a lot
Re: Jamal Robertson inks extension with Lions
Robertson seemed to get half our receiving yards, so I think it's great we've re-signed him.

I like him. IMO he is a real pro, with a lot of ability.
I like his running, and I especially like him as a receiver.
Of course, with Wally, import running backs are not exactly a dime a dozen, but they are almost interchangeable. Many talented backs seem to be available.
And Yonus Davis could be the best one we have, in terms of explosiveness.
It is strange how Wally has accumulated non-import running backs (Lee, Messam and Harris) and we barely use them.
He does like to use Lumbala as a blocking back. I have no trouble with that. But then Wally also wants to use him as a running back, and even a receiver at times, and I think those are not his talents. I would say he is excellent on STs, and I would say he is very good as a blocking back.
