Great start for Buck in what looks like a decent offensive package. TSN were justified in visiting Crescent City as this guy is playing as expected.

While I was surprised he went all the way, in some ways it suggests that the HC wants the Buck brand to be firmly imprinted on the team.

He is definitely not losing his fire as Suitor says but taking it a bit more safely.

Only Toronto with a HC with a very mediocre record is looking like a team with possible QB issues.

That Thigpen is quite a player for the Cats...

Great debut by Buck Pierce. Almost 300 yards rushing, 91 yards rushing, and 1 touchdown. Good to see him using the hook slide.

I was pulling for Buck to have a good game and he had a great game. If the Bombers can fix their special teams, they'll be competitive in the East.

Like most fans, I used to rank Hamilton as my second favourite team but I'd have to switch to Winnipeg now because of Buck.

How about this stat line?
Ex-Lions Jamall Johnson, Otis Floyd , Markeith Knowlton and Jerome Dennis combined for 26 of Hamilton's 43 defensive tackles but Winnipeg's offence shredded them for 211 rushing yards and 472 total yards.

Well, I'm really happy that we won and were able to come back from some adversity during the game. I think I aged about 5 years during the opening kickoff. Geez.

Buck played very well and the defense did a good job taking away Cobb and Bruce from the Ti Cat offense.

OTOH, giving up 2 long kicks for TD's was scary. We also gave up 4 sacks so there is a lot of work to do.
