Awesome "fly on the wall" video captured the jubilation and camaraderie inside the winning locker room tonight. A very emotional Wally Buono could scarcely get the words out to thank his players (he IS Italian after all). The game balls were handed out and there were some very funny quips by the players.

This made me prouder than ever to be a Lions fan.

I have to say that those locker room post game speeches are always sweeter after a big victory. I love the line by Geroy, Stamps are "our little brother".

I saw that at TSN.ca. Ty's comment about getting an interception was awesome. They post those locker room segments semi-regularly at TSN. I saw one earlier in the year after a game against...Winnipeg, I think (?).

Anyone know the story behind the cheer at the end? The 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8...? Why do they count up to a specifc number and then cheer?

I think it's just a team building ritual for them. They count to the number of points they put up in the game (like they did earlier in the year in Winnipeg). I presume they only do this after victories.

Unbelievably moving video.

This team has heart that they never showed until today. Super effort, everyone came to play, prepared well.

I thought that video was great too. Tho i think logan should have gotten a game ball. He brought the NOISE today! After hearing how educated rider fans are it was funny that there were some (not close to all tho) making noise when the riders had the ball......some horns going off as well. I just love beating the greenies. Lions win, canucks win (3rd straight shut out for lui, great game there too) sounds like a pretty good day to me!

Fans in Calgary also count up the points following every touchdown. Next week, the Lions will be the only ones doing the counting.
