Any thoughts here?

Stefan's one very special football player:

* In his first year in the league, he was 4th in the league in rushing - despite only dressing for 12 games!
* Was just 111 yards shy of a 1,000 yard season (889) despite only carrying the ball 122 times!
* Nearly a 10 yard receiving average (9.2) even though he really only catches the ball out of the backfield!

Prior to Stefan's arrival, who brought fans out of their seats the way he has?

Merv Fernandez (1982)?
Neon Leon Bright (1977)?
Willie Fleming (1959)?

I thought he was the player that brought me out of my seat like Doug Flutie. I realize they play a different position, but he simply is that exciting an impact player.

Having had the opportunity to see all them play my vote still goes to Willie Fleming. He also could make you miss in a phone booth and had great hands as a receiver. He had too gears fast and see ya! He could run inside the tackles and outside and had a 9.4 average. I recall a game against Sask when he hooked up for a long td strike from Joe Kapp. Logan has a lot of moves and runs low to the ground and if he can stay healthy we have quite a budding star.

Let's not forget that Casey Printers was pretty electric when he was at his best.

Those are really impressive stats...his quickness makes him a really fun player to watch.

I don't get what your problem is here. I thought Printers was exciting when he was here, and so did most fans. His actions since that time are irrelevant. Sorry if that makes you bang your head against the wall.

Is acknowledging CP's positive contributions now taboo on this forum, just like criticizing Buck's marginal performance on the weekend?

I think that Lionheart is in agreement with you, Printers is the definitive answer to the question posed by David, thus time to move on.
