Except for the loss (of course) the Mrs and I enjoyed our road trip to McMahon Stadium.

* With the +15C temps we had on Saturday, McMahon is a terrific venue for outdoor football. 8)

* Tailgating is not only allowed, it is encouraged and promoted by the Stamps. Police are present throughout the lot, but as long as the beveridges are kept in plastic cups, everyone can tailgate to their heart's content.

* McMahon's parking lot is wall to wall with some of the best tailgate setups that you'll ever see, including one site that had margarita shaker powered by a lawnmower engine.

* Inside the stadium, beer and coolers are sold in cans, but unlike Mosaic Stadium, no cans are hurled at the opposition.

* Fans were very hospitable - as a matter of fact, I think we were the only yahoos in our section.

* Lions fans and Stampeder fans do have one thing in common - they both dislike Rider fans. :roar:

* All in all, a great place to watch a football game.

Sudsy is as clean as they come. :)

GC is where you separate the yahoos from the real fans, those that make that trek enjoy their CFL ball regardless. It is funny how a few bad apples get the most attention in what ever walk of life, it is no different in the CFL.

Yes Troy, you are a good one, best of luck to your team this week they will need it. :)

Come on Phil. Make the journey to the Motherland for a game. I'd happily repay you for the beers of yours I've had at the backers tg's. It's only fitting that you come enjoy the same hospitality you have extended to me.

Always had fun in that stadium. Even when losing to those sob's by 7 points in a thriller I knew that that "loss" was a catalist to us winning the GC that year. I was so pumped after that game... they laffed... but we DID win the CG! :rockin:
