As expected, it is the only game in town to support at this time of the year. Glad that there will be a loaded house, as I don't think the Lions would have got much more than another 7 - 10K, for the WDSF.

How many tickets were available? I know they presold to Season Ticket holders (and IIRC Flex pass holders.)

If the Lions can score early and take the crowd out who will be tempered by the cold, the crowd really shouldn't make much of a difference over the last game we played there which was also sold out. Conversely, if the Riders score earlier they will feed off the crowd.

I enjoyed reading about your experience in Regina earlier this year. This is the playoffs, I was there for the western semi final, I have never ever, and the players said this as did Tom Higgins, I have never heard a louder crowd in my life, it was a zoo, there were ups and downs during the game, but it stayed really loud. So with that being said I think the crowd will be a factor.

In any event a sold out crowd, CFL football, 2 teams that hate each other will make for a great game. Cheers

wow....maybe i should post all the things the sellout in mins in vancouver....like single game canucks tickets that sold out in 12 mins, or how about the spice girls, sold out in 8 mins, ACDC sold out in 3 mins, hmm, chris rock sold out in 31 mins (and this was 3 shows), U2 sold out bc place in 22 mins.

Actually I like to hear about stadiums being soldout no matter where it is. Last year when they packed into B-C place for the west final I thought that was great. I love The Riders but also love The CFL. Would you prefer that this game didn't sellout. It wasn't that long ago that times were tough for The CFL...times are great attendance in B-C, Saskatchewan, Calgary and other teams is up, ratings are up, the interest is high, that's great to hear!

HUH? I admire all CFL fans. Most of the Opposition Fans that come into BC Place are nothing but class and I try to remember we have one big thing in common-WE LOVE CFL FOOTBALL. If I'm a 'lower class of fan' I guess theres no point watching Rider games anymore.......

oh ziggy, i love your posts more and more....hit the nail right on the head. Sask fans are arrogant jerks. I'd rather let mola ram take out my heart than cheer for the riders. Hell, i'd rather move to hastings street and live in the slums than be a rider fan.
