First, kudos to the Lions - the schwag in this year's season ticket package was outstanding. The calendar, the fridge magnet, the regular schedule, the 2006 Grey Cup Champs logo decal, the Orange Card, the FREE bronze ticket vouchers, the Roar Report....WOW! No one can say they aren't marketing their brand to their fan base. Outstanding.

Second, you may want to mark these dates in your calendars this year:

Friday, July 6 vs. Edmonton = Mini Grey Cups to the first 5,000 fans.

Friday, August 31, vs. Montreal = Zipper binders to the first 4,000 kids 12 & under.

Saturday, September 15 vs. Toronto = Special gift to the first 3,000 ladies.

Saturday, November 3 vs. Calgary = Geroy Simon bobblehead to the first 3,000 fans.

Good to read David....

It going to be crazy trying to get one of the Geroy bobbleheads with only 3,000 of them.

I wonder if the ring in that brochure is the same as how the actual 2006 Grey Cup ring was designed. It it is, then I think it lacks originality becaues the shape and word style is very similar to the 2000 Grey Cup ring.

Five years later after the Damon Allen bobblehead giveway in October 2002, and not the least bit more generous and just as stingy as they are still handing out only 3,000. :bang: :sigh:

I guess everything is relative and I know I mentioned this on other threads before. The Mariners just gave away 25,000 bobbleheads of Felix Hernandez tonight.
