Can't afford it. $175/head is a little out of my price range.

Hey Christa, I was actually looking for more info on the Grey Cup dinner. My friend and fellow Lions fan (my buddy Ed, who I met through the group I first started getting seasons tickets with in 2004) and I was going to get him a ticket (and one for myself) for his birthday present, however I don't have too many details about it. Would love to go though for sure!ChristaMichelle wrote:Are any of you going to the greycup dinner next weekend???
Afraid not......I have 5 different team 2006/2007 calendars purchased during GC week in Winnipeg.........on the Felions calendar(coiled top), you share April with Tara.ChristaMichelle wrote:Hmmm - Shi Zi Mi - You must have the calander from two years ago when it was smaller. I saw the other cheerleaders calanders last year and ours was bigger from what I can remember. Last years calander was longer and had a coiled top - I think that you will all be impressed with this years calander. It was a lot of fun to shoot and I am really looking foward to seeing the finished product.
So the support staff including the Felions will be getting Grey Cup rings after all. That answers my question from last November. I suppose the rings they will be getting will be similar to the ones seen here? I guess for women, the pendants and earrings might be more appropriate as the rings shown in the catalog are definitely men's championship rings. Women's championship rings usually have a different design.CartWheelFan wrote:I also think it's very appropriate that the '06 Felions are going to be getting Grey Cup rings! I think those rings are well deserved by you all, and that you will wear them well Hope to be there to see you presented with them.
Speaking of which, it's sad to see that Tara is not returning. I guess she didn't make the cut this year.Shi Zi Mi wrote:on the Felions calendar(coiled top), you share April with Tara.
do you have to be over 19 to get in?ChristaMichelle wrote:Are any of you going to the greycup dinner next weekend???
Rookie night. Just might have to rustle up the Smphantom and get out to the Red Robinson. BBChristaMichelle wrote:Wow - what a nice reply - thank you so much for the wonderful comments.
If you bought your seasons tickets this year you should have gotten information about the Greycup dinner. I do believe it is in coquitlam at a casino and the tickets will run you about 175 each. All the felions from 2006 and 2007 will be there - the rookies this year will be working at the event. It should be a great night. If you have any questions you should contact head office.
As for the calander this year - like I said - it will be your standard square size calander (a bit bigger than two years ago). The calander will feature the 20 girls who went to mexico along with a centrefold of the whole team. Also the 14 girls who did not come to Mexico have their own little treat in store for you all. Make sure you keep your eyes on the website (i will keep you all posted on here as well)
Well I cant wait for this new season - it has been so exciting so far. See you all at Fanfest and at the field June 15th.
Since it is held at a casino and there will be a cocktail reception, I'm assuming that it will be an adults only event.Dan_Payne_fan!! wrote:do you have to be over 19 to get in?ChristaMichelle wrote:Are any of you going to the greycup dinner next weekend???
Well, none of the complaining about the size came from me. I quite liked last years calendar, I prefer the one big page with the coil top, as there is no fold (or staples) in the middle of the picture that way.ChristaMichelle wrote:Ahhh - I cant believe that our calander was one of the smallest - must have been one of the more awkward ones to carry - we had a lot of negative feedback as fas as how big the calander was compared to the year before - hence the reason why we are changing the format this year - anyways like you said not a big deal.
As for the greycup rings - they will be very different from the ones that were featured in the season ticket holders brochure. I am very excited to see them. Our game day operator Jenn Graham designed them.
Sorry if this reply seems a little delayed, but I was certain I posted a reply to this days ago. However, I don't see it here now.ChristaMichelle wrote:Wow - what a nice reply - thank you so much for the wonderful comments.

Hmm, well it would appear that my reply to this one is also absent from the thread. I sent you a message elsewhere with further details though.ChristaMichelle wrote:Are any of you going to the greycup dinner next weekend???
