This goes beyond "flakiness". Duncan clearly some issues surrounding anxiety attacks and mental illness - what he did last year on the way to Winnipeg's camp (going AWOL for a few days in Calgary) was not normal, and a definite cry for help. When they were looking for him, his family acknowledged as much. There is still a tremendous stigma surrounding mental illness in our society, and it is a shame as it often prevents people from getting the help they need. I hope Duncan has found the help and support he needs, and that he can get his career back on track.TheLionKing wrote:They say that kickers are flakes. Certainly O'Mahony lives up to that and more.
After he said, we the fans "willed" him to miss that field goal in the Sask. game, no.Charlene wrote:Poor Duncan :(
Will people ever stop being mean to him?
Well, at least he'll be in the right city this time.Robbie wrote:Let's hope he doesn't go missing again just like he did last year when he failed to report to the Blue Bombers training camp.
