T.J. Lee picks off Fajardo for the Lions’ second turnover of the game with just over 3 minutes left.

I totally agree he has called an excellent game...,and made some good changes to our offensive attack,

I couldn't watch. Too stressful but congrats to the Lions on their 2nd straight. It could have been a bit easier. Lots to talk about next practise but I am beginning to like Eberhart. He still looks a little unsteady at times but maybe we have the beginnings of a Ben Cahoon type of player. Not the speediest or the flashiest but is starting to get the job done.
Tell me how long must a fan be strong? Ans. Always.

That was an impressive win. The Lions overcame 4 turnovers to close out a 37-23 victory. The Lions outrushed the Als 188 yards to 70, with Will Stanback leading the way with 128 yards against his former team. It was the Lions’ fourth straight game with more rushing yards than their opponent. The Lions dominated the line of scrimmage, with Kory Woodruff and David Knevel leading the way and David Mackie having a huge game blocking and adding a 23-yard rushing TD of his own.

Kudos to the coaching staff and players for having one of their best games of the season on the road on a short week.

yeah take away the turnovers it was a pretty strong game. especiallly by both lines. Lots of time to throw for Rourke esp first half. Good oush for the run game and a good push by the Dline. amazing on a short week.

One odd stat from this game: The Lions punted only once. They had 4 TDs, 3 FGs, 4 TOs and 1 punt.

Montreal had 2 TDs, 3 FGs, 2 TOs and 6 punts.

I'd be lying if I didn't admit to a little extra satisfaction watching the game from a barstool at the Creekside Pub & Brewery in Regina.
