Much better by Young but he is cramping up or something. Second time he has needed the trainers.

In fairness to the defense and their early troubles, there were only 4 returnees from last year announced as starters.

Defence has only surrendered 10 points. They sacked Willy 5 times

Really interesting story about MTL's plan to showcase their history. Next month it will be the 1970 logo, then in August the 1974. I wondered why they had no logos during preseason. According to a comment below the article, the '60s helmet decal are Alouette's (horned lark) horns, not "wings" (but every modern day source calls them "wings".)
I liked the short-lived 1970 Als uni, because it was the first Grey Cup I remember watching on TV with my Dad. (The white CGY unis got filthy in short order in the CNE mud.)

Fully agree--most of that game was very painful to watch. It was only the Als self-destructing (with non-starter Willy) that saved them. Credit to the revamped D (and JJ10 showing the first signs of pulling out of his post-injury funk). Probably last season this would have been another loss.
The real test comes against a non tire fire club.

Agreed, we will always take a win but I will be cautious about ascribing it to an improving team until they have tested out against some more competent opposition that isn't from a different time zone and hasn't done atrocious against us at home for the better part of the last twenty years.
Tell me how long must a fan be strong? Ans. Always.
