Calgary's rush could be handled by double tight ends to prevent the blitz that Calgary is exploiting in the 1st half

The Bomber must be thinking "if we wanted a QB that looked like an MOP one week and deserving of being cut the next, we already have Alex Brink".TheLionKing wrote:I wonder if the Bombers and the Esks are still interested in Reilly![]()

Could have said this 15 mins ago I suppose, but so much for the Harris v Cornish storyline tonight.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

Andrew Harris looked totally frustrated out there.
Re: Game Day Thread- Stamps vs. Lions

Every day that passes is one you can't get back

I'm watching it now.jcalhoun wrote:So,
What did everyone think of 'Playing a Dangerous Game?' I thought it was excellent. Almost as good as the one on Cavillo.

Oh, wait, you meant that show before the game, right?

In fairness it is not all Reilly. He has looked rattled but where are the play calls that give him less pressure. No harris.
I think this is a case where MB gave the pre-game speech on Oct 22 with the plug and play stuff on O - anyone can do it.
No one can handle our D.
I suspect the Stamp coaches said the Lions think they've won this game before they got here.
Not often is other coaches word as good for motivation but this week's were! Espec. the game before playoffs.

Regardless of the fact we have wrapped up first place, a shocking absolute no-show.
Suggest the boys and coaches donate their game cheques to a charity of choice!

Lead, follow or get out of the way!

The housing market is on the downside so we might see McCallum back next year.jcalhoun wrote:Well, to be fair about it, he's the only player in the history of the league that will qualify for CPP before he retires so.....TheLionKing wrote:For someone who played in Regina for most of his career his kicking has been absymalSammyGreene wrote:

O'Neil will be in his 60's before McCallum retires
