I love GEroy and would hate to see him go elsewhere, but he just isn't there.
On that thought, where would you say Jarious is?
I've always liked him but had a feeling that he would fall off the earth this year.
I don't mind JJ. He just needed a Receiver to catch a ball or two. He put alot of the balls right where they should have gone.
Meanwhile, Pierce almost gets picked off because of a bad ball and then he gets hit once again. He's good but he needs some more time to heal up.

And now the defence has quit playing and is showing just how bad our linebackers are.

Yet it was the Sask D that was on the field for the majority of 3 quarters! Our D should be much fresher.

ABSOLUTELY!
The Riders did not show any quit at all and played like a champion. Full credit to them. The Lions on the other hand have show nothing but quit and no heart. Riders were all heart!

I really believe our passing offence is seriously out of date LFITQ. Last season, we changed a lot of our running game and Jarious went deep more often but really we've been running the same passing offence in 2005, 2006, 2007, and the first two games this season.
It doesn't matter which quarterback is in there over the past 21 games...our passing offence has not been very good overall. A shake up might help but really the problem is less with the players offensively and much more with the scheme. When you are not having success...things start to break down!!

Chap will be going back to the booth. His play calling is also in question but the receivers did not help their cause... nor did JJ with his two crucial fumbles. Lets see who is the sacrifical lamb next week.

brain farts, dropped balls, and fumbles.... and we lose a game Saskatchewan has no business winning.
Our defense played a great first half, the offense started slow but seemed to be getting in a groove by half time, and then we crap the bed! How in the world does this happen?

Geroy: "we were just bad in all facets of the game".
Uhhh no Geroy. For the most part the Defence was pretty good, until they got too tired of being on the field because receivers couldn't catch balls.

The Chap should be gone, period. The players who most wanted him back are the ones who have most let the team down. Time for Wally to let the inmates know they can't run the asylum.

Couldn't agree more. Hufnagel, with his consulting and Kruck and Dorazio tried to make some changes to this offence but we've reverted back. It's a dead offence...bury it and start again. We had the lead and didn't run the football in the second half...at least we didn't do that last year....which is why we won...

You know at least last year the Ticats seemed to at least be trying when they were playing. We can't even say that this year yet.

what a painful game. with all the rider injuries and 2nd and 3rd stringer qb's, i figured it was a slam dunk for the lions. one of the most brutal losses in recent memory. one more example of how i am so not sold on jj. far too many tears in my beer
