I completely agree! Did you see that cut away scene in the 3rd where Kavis Reed took Jonathan Hefney by the jowels and calmed him down after his string of bad penalties?

THAT is how it's done!
Our coaches need half time to make adjustments, even then they do a lousy job at it.
It's nice to see some people have enough intelligence to know that the loss wasn't CP's fault. Incredible how a couple of bad quarters of play have made him the scape-goat for all the Lion's woes this year. How so many can just ignore the pee-poor play-calling and the inability of the coaches to control the players.
This team has lost respect for their coaches, and is playing like it. The entire coaching staff needs a major re-vamp in order to shake things up, and have the player's respecting their coaches again...and allowing their talent and ability to once again shine and win games.

Eh, of all of the loses this year, to me this one was the least of an embarrassment.
Wpg knew their backs were to the wall, and came out swinging once Jyles was in the game, the offence went into "chapball" mode to kill the clock and Wpg just made plays happen.
I don't blame Casey Printers for the loss simply because by the time he threw that pick 6, Wpg had clawed back from a 21 pt deficit, why is it so impossible that Wpg earned this win on the back half of a home and home?
Why wouldn't Khalif Mitchell's dummy penalty be a greater factor in the loss? Sean Whyte's failure to punt the ball out of bounds? Or the poor kick coverage on that punt?
Or Angus Reid going down? Or Lee injuring his knee? Or Sanchez's antics?
We are 5-9, 4-2 in our last 6 games, we have a huge matchup with the Esks upcoming, win that one and one more team goes into the rearview mirror.
We have Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatchawan, Calgary and Hamilton left to play, two at Empire, two away games, that is a tough final schedule as no one has locked down the West just yet, the team really should be focused on next week.

From one thing, know ten thousand things. When you attain the Way of strategy there will not be one thing you cannot see. You must study hard.
Next week is coming up real fast, almost too fast for the Lions in regular mode, let alone implosion mode. Edmonton will be ready to feast a late Turkey dinner and will have a ton of incentive.

And I'm sure Derick Armstrong will have something to prove too.

I would doubt that DA makes it into the lineup for this week the deal was just made. In fact I wonder who the Esks are going to use as a P/K now that Prefontaine was traded back to the Argos.

I've heard that he will, and as far as the P/K situation goes, I believe they're going with Derek Schiavone

I beleive he has to make into the lineup this week. The Esks plucked him from the Riders practice roster and the only way to do that is to put him on the roster for the next game. I'm not 100% sure how the 52 man vs 46 man roster fits into this but I do know he will be getting a regular game cheque this week.
Now that I don't live in Quesnel do I need to change my handle??
