Imho the Tackle is not even trying to stay in front of the DE they just punch them and let them go.
I don't like it. Call it the "lookout block." Or the bullfighter block.

I can't see it that way unless it is a draw or screen right now.

Looks like a big crowd at Empire tonight.

Well, it will set up a screen or shovel pass or bubble screen, the DE will naturally drop their outside responsbilities.

Agree, plus it does not help your Tackle to develop, "just chip the guy, Casey will make something happen"
