Pretty impressed with the O line so far. Our backs getting some decent holes to run. Rourke getting enough time to progress through his reads.

How did Rourke just make that pass to Cottoy? Amazing!

Rourke’s ball distribution is ridiculously good. What a start to the season

For the last decade we've had such a mediocre O line and this year it's been so far a turnaround. What gives? Coaching, play calling, better talent? Just keep Nathan time and he's gonna rip apart any D.

It's so fun to watch. Reminds me of Dave Dickenson. DD would just pick apart defenses with short passes. Rourke can throw it deep too which DD had more issues with.

We're all so starstruck with Rourke but this defense. Wow!

I'm going to have to revise down my combined total score picks going forward.

So excited for the rest of the season, hopefully we can keep injuries at bay...

Nathan Rourke has just established a CFL record for most passing yardage in a single game for a Canadian QB.

WOW !!!

Rourke; receivers; O-Line; defence = all outstanding; and having an accurate FG kicker like Whyte is huge.

Extra wow to David Mackie - guy looks like another Sean Millington ! (and what a dumb roster management move to dress only one tailback IMO; but if Mackie is not rewarded with more carries moving forward in other games = even dumber)

Great comparison about Mackie looking like Millington. Potentially a Drummond/Millington or Philpot/Millington style combo

Anybody want to bet if we see Mackie getting rewarded with more than one or two carries in a game going forward ?

This is an exciting time to be a Lions fan. It's been years since I was this genuinely hopeful about our future. Rourke looks to be the real deal.

A big test will be when we play teams like Winnipeg or Saskachewan (and even they have shown some weaknesses), but the fact we established two decisive wins (rather than winning close games with some struggles) is very, very promising.
