Montreal’s offence can’t protect Drew Willy. 34-7 at the half. Tyrell Sutton had only 2 carries in the first half but still gained 45 yards.

Streveler’s third TD pass of the game makes it 47-10 Winnipeg. The Lions can’t be feeling too proud of their 22-10 win over Montreal last week.

Jeremiah Masoli throws to Luke Tasker for an opening-drive TD in Edmonton. 7-0 Hamilton. Can they keep it up and do the Lions a favour?

Explosive start to the Edmonton Hamilton game. Hamilton scores a touchdown on their opening series only to have the Eskimos respond on their 2nd play to tie the game at 7

Masoli’s second TD pass to Tasker gives Hamilton a 21-8 lead in the second quarter. The Eskimo secondary isn’t very good but the Eskimo offence can score points in a hurry. You have to outscore them to win. Defence alone won’t do it.

I would love it if the East could take 3 of the 4 matchups this weekend. It would bode well for a much needed improvement to the balance across the league.

Of course, it would help our cause in the standings.

I am totally getting ahead of myself but I wonder when the last time the East won a week?
