Burris not great but not that bad. Burris did not drop an easy first down catch at midfield when the game was close, or snap the ball too early, and he doesn't play defence (no one on Hamilton seems to be playing defence). 319 yards for Sask in the first half. This is just a total mismatch, one team too good for the other. Sask whipped Hamilton in both regular season contests, too.

I was just thinking that, I looked very carefully and couldn't see any Orange. I thought the CFL would require every teams' attendance.
The noise levels have made Burris completely ineffective. So much for their card signal system. With Dyakowski out, they have no chance of a comeback.
Oh well, at least Geroy gets into the record book again.

Lions went on the cheap and didn't send them this year as part of their "low key" presence in Regina according to a story LU wrote earlier this week. Pretty pathetic actually as these girls don't get a lot of perks thrown their way. Geroy is doing his best to make up for the lack of BC presence.

Wow...that is just unbelievable! I thought that the whole idea of selling the calendars during the year was to help subsidise the trip to the GC city. That's just embarrassing, the Redblacks have a cheer team in Regina, but the Lions are NOT represented?

The Cats tactics of letting the Riders run up the first half score has worked - let them start thinking at the half of their post game celebrations and the score lulled them to let down a bit.
I felt Austin should have gone to Dan L but Burris is looking better now.
'Why Austin has chosen not to use Gable will be said to be situational - need to pass but when you have guys with talent like that why leave them out of the game. These guys all do that and the stats don't support them. Sheets not used by Cortez coincides with them losing. But you can spin that regardless.

2nd and 19, they get the first down. That's the clincher.

Sheets and Durant will be impossible to tolerate after this result! Barely tolerable now and my list of intolerables in the CFL just has a few on it!

It's been a while since I've seen one team look so bad in a grey cup

Any one in the East still tuned in? This can't be good for the ratings this year.

The pressure is now on the BC Lions to keep this streak of the home team being in the Grey Cup going.

Dwight Anderson is a piece of trash. Oh well congrats Riders. All the reason to hate you even more. Really too bad we let them off the hook two weeks ago.

Edmonton twice, in 1977 and 1990. The 1977 team might have used weather and field conditions as an excuse (though there were rumours of of excessive partying) but the 1990 team, like today's Ticats, was simply outclassed. These two teams didn't belong on the same field, or at least not this one.

They deserved to win.
Good on Geroy for two TDs.
Durant - just cant resist arrogance/chippiness. Thanked his supporters and those who didn't believe in him knows where they can go. Do you really need to say that stuff AFTER a win like that?
Geroy would be a good pick for Ottawa next year.
