22yd punt
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

At least that punt dribbled away from the returners and out of bounds.

Pathetic punt by McCallum. What's his excuse ? He's played in Regina for over 10 years.

Bell should have had the interception
Did someone get a hand on it?TheLionKing wrote:Pathetic punt by McCallum. What's his excuse ? He's played in Regina for over 10 years.
Speaking of getting a hand on it, Bell should have had that pick.

Brutal..should have been an interception and instead turns into a huge play for the Riders.
Taylor makes a huge sack to hold them to a field goal.

Nice sack by Taylor to make the FGA longer.

Forde claimed that Foley got a piece of it but I don't buy that. Paul did have a hard time getting it away with Haidara forgetting to make the block, and I give him credit for at least getting it away and kicking it away from the returners.TheLionKing wrote:Pathetic punt by McCallum. We're fortunate to only be down by 3.
