Re: Western Final-Getting Ready For The Stamps!!!

my sisterNlaw is visiting from alabama - with knowledge of Buck and the Lions but without thinking of the future she comes out for dinner tonight wearing a Montreal t-shirt her husband got while there on a business trip.

I thought hmmm - Montreal is in our future. :rockin:

I hope our O can put together a good solid game and I have a good feeling they will. The best way to defend against Burris is to keep him on the sidelines as much as possible.

Ryan Phillips and Buck Pierce share a birthday this Saturday too!

Football is funny in how players who never play against each other still get compared. Burris and Buck WILL NOT take one snap and look at the each other on the field but we'll be comparing them nonetheless. IIRC, there is a special edition Friday Blitz in tomorrows Province.

Re: Western Final-Getting Ready For The Stamps!!!

the upside to playing the game on a Saturday is that I have one day less to wait! I am SOOO jacked for this one already, I don't know how I am going to stand to wait another 30 hours and 30 minutes (but who's counting  ) until kickoff....

In the meantime, here's my pre-game playlist. Exactly an hour of music specially selected to pump me up before the big game. Some special dedications:

Autograph - Turn Up the Radio
for anyone, who like me, can only listen to the game on Team 1040

The Beatles - Birthday
for Buck Pierce and Ryan Phillips

Sweet - Ballroom Blitz
once again for the D, as a reminder of what we need to do to Burris... pressure baby pressure!

Stroke 9 - Kick Some Ass
for Rob Murphy and Jason Jimenez

EMF - You're Unbelievable
for Cam Wake!

The Gap Band - You Dropped a Bomb on Me
for Geroy and PJ

Run DMC - Tougher than Leather
for JC82!

Free - All Right Now
for the entire BC Lions organization who have had a turbulent year, but have shown they are the class of the CFL by overcoming it all to end up right where everyone expected them to be.... one game away from the Grey Cup!!!

LET'S GO LEOS!!! :rockin:

people here would be more "jacked" if the game were here rather than over there

Let me get this straight, the home fans get more excited if the games played at home? What a novel concept!
