Quatchi is the runaway favourite, outselling Miga two-to-one while Sumi is far behind at third. No Ordinary Joe wrote:Quatchi is awesome! I'll buy a plush Quatchi doll. Not too crazy about the other two but meh, a mascot is a mascot as far as I'm concerned, I think they're alright.
Speaking of Red Indians and the whole PC issue, that reminds me of the colour name Indian Red. You won't find that name anymore in a crayola box... I believe the preferred term these days is "Burnt Carmine". Not that that's much better  I just imagine the Big Ragu from Laverne & Shirley taking a massive bong hit.MacNews wrote:About 4%, IIRC.Sir Purrcival wrote:how much are most of the citizenry of this province reflected by this kind of stuff?
In my BC History class, my teacher told us that in England they call our Natives "Red Indians". Because calling them Indian was in-accurate in the first place.CartWheelFan wrote:I have a question, I hope it can be conidered slightly on topic, what are/would they like us to call them these days?
