Quatchi is the runaway favourite, outselling Miga two-to-one while Sumi is far behind at third.

About 4%, IIRC.
CartWheelFan wrote:I have a question, I hope it can be conidered slightly on topic, what are/would they like us to call them these days?
In my BC History class, my teacher told us that in England they call our Natives "Red Indians". Because calling them Indian was in-accurate in the first place.
Speaking of Red Indians and the whole PC issue, that reminds me of the colour name Indian Red. You won't find that name anymore in a crayola box... I believe the preferred term these days is "Burnt Carmine". Not that that's much better — I just imagine the Big Ragu from Laverne & Shirley taking a massive bong hit.

Those mascots = complete crap.

Sumi? Seriously? Did the morons who came up with that one try saying it out loud?

At least the good folks over at Deadspin (a sports fan's must-read) like 'em - NOT!

So who here is can consider themselves a child??? (and not by how you act :p)

This are targeted at kids and they will grow on ppl. Think of the new canuck jersey's, a lot of people hated them when they came out, but now they have grown on people.

Was working as a toy drive volunteer recently and someone donated one of these mascots "Miga" as a Christmas present. The ticket price $30.00. Made in China of course and universally considered by all staff present as pretty damn ugly. It looked and felt like something you might get at one of those booths at the PNE after 30 wins.

With the Olympics coming up in less than 100 days, have any of you bought an Olympic mascot stuff animal for your kids? Or for yourself?
