Interesting. This is the 2nd on-air interview in which Mr. Doman expressed optimism at a crowd of 40K last week (interview took place last Saturday). Not that over 30K was bad or anything. As I mentioned, it represented a 60% increase from the 2016 West Final vs the Bombers, but I wonder what happened?
Was there a much smaller walk-up than the club was expecting? I know the weather was horrendous to start the day. The sun came out when the game was on; we could see it from the stands but it may have dissuaded some from coming out. But 10,000??
