Read in todays paper (Province-BLitz edition) that it was Rod Pedersen. That doesn't surprise me much. Rod Black kinda did...

Maybe both have blogged that the Riders have a new 'unstoppable' play. Don't really respect eithers opinion on that comment...

Did catch the 4th quarter of the East Semi. Exciting win by the Ticats.... Yup, probably PI on the second to last play. League needs consistency, IMO. Don't buy the lettemplay philosphy. Why not let both players (O and D) play with the same rules all game? Ticats went on 3 and short on successive sets of downs. Poor tackling got them inside the five and wham, its over....

Rintoul is saying wind not much a factor at the moment.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

Another instance of tandem blocking.

Not a bad strategy with the Riders expecting the run right away. Travis first two throws looked awful.

Have we gained anything this year running up the middle?

Nice cutback to the waakside by Harris on the zone read.

The Riders are using 5 defensive lineman on first down to stop our run.

I know it's early but Lulay isn't throwing well off the start.
