Then stop being a hypocrite. When BC Lions are about to win a playoff game, our "fans" did the same chant. Same as any other city. We aren't angels ourselves...hwgill wrote:Yes.TheLionKing wrote:I am of course referring to the football team. I recall Canuck fans sing Na, Na, Na when they eliminate a team from the playoffs. X 2. I can't continue to live here if the Riders pull it off. It will be unbearable. And I really don't want to leave my husband and children, so please Alouettes, go for the Cup.Hawkballer 14 wrote:I don't think the world is ready for another Riders championship. Is your hubby a Rider fan? It would suck to get it at home too.#1 Lions Fan in SK wrote:X 2. I can't continue to live here if the Riders pull it off. It will be unbearable. I am not saying "you" do that, but just in the same you are condemning Montreal in general for chanting that. I am sure they were a few there that weren't chanting, but do you care to make that distinction? You generalize... just like I did... get it?hwgill wrote:No hypocrisy here, because I don't, and won't, do that...ever.Spud387 wrote: Then stop being a hypocrite. Not quite, in that I may have not been specific enough, however, the way it was written, it's hard not to agree, since we're talking about the fans that do sing that, not those who didn't.Spud387 wrote:I am not saying "you" do that, but just in the same you are condemning Montreal in general for chanting that. Anthony Calvillo and his offence is certainly stoppable in a championship game, exhibited twice by both the Lions and the Eskimos, and most recently last year by the Stampeders. Let's see if the Roughriders can complete the list of west division teams and rise to the challenge.

Re: Grey Cup 2009: Who will you cheer for?
Okay, today I hear Rod Pederson (SP) suggesting that the crowd would be 85% in support of the Riders. He based that conclusion on the GC Rider victory in Toronto being made up of 80% Green Rider fans. Now I am not an expert, but somehow I doubt that he got the TO numbers correct, but that does suggest why we continuously get reports of 15K Rider fans at some of the WDF the Lions have hosted, he isn't very good with numbers. However with most GC tickets being in Stampeder fans hands, I doubt that they are going to support let alone dress in green to cheer on the Riders.
