That's according to "a source close to Tillman." Three guesses as to who that is. This is his just his side of the story. There's no denial that something happened. This "source" just suggests that it's a trivial matter. It's too early to cast judgment. Hopefully, we'll find out the truth in due course.

Guys have to keep their hands to themselves. Landmines everywhere. Don't bump into boobs that are in the way as you check mail boxes and bulletin boards in the crowded offce, and don't let boobs bump into your arm. And, under no circumstance pat that butt. One of these days, a football coach is going to get charged for patting the butt of a player (if it has not already happened). It is crazy out there nowadays.

You simply do not know WHO will be the one to use that little bump to change the rest of your life.

The womens' movement brought great things to women, including the ability to ruin or incarcerate whichever male they choose.

And lest I be jumped on here, Tillman is neither guilty or innocent...yet. He DID put himself in a position that most males I know would not have, however.

Reading some of these posts are interesting insight into life...and people. I do understand how painful and unpleasant this is for so many of you, and that hurts more than words can ever express. I care deeply about the good name of the Saskatchewan Roughriders!!!

As I said today at the press conference, I have told the truth from day one and, instead of getting on that plane this afternoon (I was flying home to see my ill Father), I wanted to stay and meet with the media. Why? Becuase, like I said, I know what the truth is, and I felt it was very important to be open, accessible, etc. And, in that vain, I very much look forward to the process unfolding as quickly as possible. Like me, others are eager to tell the truth...and they will, too. More than you can ever know, my heart goes out to the other people (including my family and parents) who have been so adversely impacted by this very public process...and, of course, all of you who love the Riders!!!

I would love to expand on my thoughts, but out of respect for other individuals involved, for whom I care about, and the proper protocol...as in the process...I will restrain. Well, except for this: even injecting the word "consentual" in this dialogue when your have no idea as to the allegation is incredibly unfair. And, until the truth comes out over the coming weeks (and it will), I would respectfully ask you without your opinions until THEN! After, the process unfolds and the facts are out in the open, you can then speak based on knowledge, rather than speculation.

As you can see he plans to take the course of innocent from his stance here, not unexpected, but I do think that he is correct in that what is being suggested is far worse than what actually did take place.

For those who have exhibited kindness, or even patience, thank you. And, for the PM's of support, thank you, as well.

In a business of rivalries, those of us on the inside, understand the dinstiction between competition and respect. Several football "rivals" have been in contact over the past few hours, and they've been incredible (as have some of you via PM). Wally, who in spite of our heated divisional rivalry, is a dear friend...and he certainly showed a loving side to us (our family) tonight, which you will never see watching from the stands. And, Michael (Pinball), who is a lifetime friend, called twice to be supportive. They are both good, good men, and, football allegiances aside, worthy of your respect!

This will be my final post for a while. If you will, during this process, please try to exhibit the same fairness you would want if the roles were reversed. As I said at the press conference today, many facts will come out in the open for all to see, and please reserve your judgement until those facts are revealed.

When this is all resolved, I will very much look forward to answering your questions again. The exchanges over these past few weeks have been enjoyable (for the most part). And, even when you disagree with decisions that have been made, I hope the explanations (good or bad) into our thought process (how we made them) are beneficial and insightful.

Nice to see that Wally has given his support and I do agree with Tillman's suggestion that everyone should approach this like it was a role reversal before they type.

I will go with innocent until proven guilty but I have to say, I am not impressed with the Globe and Mail revelation about painkillers. That sounds very much like excuse making at the moment. If that bears out factual, then the suggestion would be that, he was sent home from work, probably drove at some point, was going to a board meeting later and yet somehow was mentally diminished to the point of making this a reason for whatever? I know that this is all very circumspect but that would be a very tough sell in my book. When the details come out, hopefully it will make more sense.

Too many knee-jerk reactions to this story IMO. Lets wait and see what the facts tell us. Anger management 101... don't react. Stay calm...it's not always easy for me. Imagine how my wife feels. Tilllman deserves the"benefit of the doubt."

Has he ever come out and denied it happened? I haven't seen or heard ,any actual straight out " I'm innocent" statement. He seems to be saying things like the truth will come out etc. but no denial? I find that curious.

Tho i cant stand him, i can say i've walked a mile in his shoes....my ex smacked me around good one day, then tried to hit me with a bat lol, so, ticked off as i was with at least a little restraint left in me i hacked one up and spat in her face. Lost my job and spent a night in jail. Dog died the night i was picked up too, cause the cops wouldnt let me bring him in or feed either of my dogs. If he's innocent then he should walk and everyone should forget about it, if he's not then he'll have to deal with the repercussions of his actions. I dont believe anything for the apparent source we've all heard from. Tho i do hope that if this is all bogus that the girl and or her parents have to either serve time or go thro some sort of councilling program. I'm really sick of the ppl that make these bogus complaints get NOTHING. Whereas the rest of us have to pay lawyers just so that we can clear our name, even tho it never should have needed clearing.

It's always sad and disappointing to see a man go from hero to zero. I think this man's face will be labeled for a very long time as a sex offender! Tell your kids to avoid this pedophile, even though he brought the Grey Cup to the city in 1994.

I won't go that far, but his move does stray 180 degrees from his first public suggestion of being innocent and wanting the truth to come out. By making this move, he will limit the truth from coming out, I suspect.

Okay, apparently he grabbed the girl by the belt and made motion described as dry humping her from behind. I have to say that isn't exactly the milder term of touching her from behind that was offered up when this first became public. Sorry Eric, but you made a large mistake by saying that you couldn't wait for the truth to come out and prove your innocence. This is beyond exceptance from a man in your position, and trying to bluff your way out to begin with doesn't exactly portrait the quality that a community club like Saskatchewan can support. I would think that your days as a GM in Regina have come to a close. Too bad, as I think that your input in Saskatchewan was a help for the league and I doubt that you return in any capacity in the CFL with your updated resume.
