I'd love for him to stay, believe me. Unfortunately, I doubt $400k would do it, though I'd be willing to move JJ to make the offer.
If he's going to leave, IMHO, he should go somewhere where he can be a linebacker in a 3-4. Cleveland and New England (and he'd look great in New England) pop to mind instantly.
Run away, far, far away, from Oakland, or any team running the Tampa 2.

Re: Which NFL team will Cam Wake go to?
Interesting thread.
It is sure to be a hot topic with a lot of horses in the race. The question will be whether it's the top dollar as the deal sealer or whether you go with the club that will utilize you on the field.
Teams such as the Raiders are stacked on the D-line and likely wouldn't be a bidder.
New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Kansas City or in Washington competing against some guy named Chris Wilson DE. Certainly interesting speculation.
The Denver Broncos with their system might be a team where Cameron could get an immediate green light and playing opportunity. ( Wake is larger than Broncos sack master Elvis Dumervil and could be plugged into the same role there)
A player likely would take into account the potential playing time as well as getting a solid deal. Otherwise you could end up with perhaps decent money but see Casey Printers type of action which was strictly clipboard, ie: buried on the depth chart, and no playing time.
Question is "are the 4-1 Broncos going to be a interested player?" ...with previous Broncos Aaron Hunt and Jarious Jackson now BC Lions one has to wonder if the pipeline could flow the other way?
In the end, Hopefully Wake sticks to playing ball, gets his defensive team into the Western Final and utimately the Grey Cup, Win Lord Grey's trophy first,... play the field later !
