Here I thought that Gainer would be hibernating until spring prediction time. But I see a gopher must make a living, and he will get whacked in BC Place.

In that contest I'd be hoping to see Gainer beat the crap out of Crazy P. He's a knob. And after the rider rat is done with him, Krazy George should give Crazy P a few smacks just for good measure.

I don't care about Mascots. I would like to see Lions concentrate on the following:
1) Kenton Keith out of the backfield;
2) Special Teams coverage;
3) Getting the ball to Lion82, which hasn't been happening;
4) Having the D come up very, very big.
After Nov 12th, then the 19th, we can talk Gainer until the little rat gets run over by a Peterbilt.

Believe me BCL, that guy rarely walks in front of Section 17 anymore because I heckle him every chance I get.

Ok.. You lost me. There's a difference?
WOW What a cheap shot at a group of young women volunteers who give up their weekends to cheer and dance for us. :x

This mascot stuff is becoming more of a distraction than a quarterback controversy!
I thought you really hit the keys to the game..Solar Max!. Another big key will be strategizing against Saskatchewan's blitz...we've struggled to solve it!!

Of course, you didn't quote the smilie beside my post, did you graintroll?
You're out of your league here lad. Now be a good fan, and celebrate your win somehere else. Congrats, by the way, but acting as you are here is classless.

How on earth did you take that as a cheap shot? All SM was getting at was that the mascots are pretty much glorified cheerleaders. Wow, I guess all time hiding behind the surveillance bush in Moose Jaw must be getting to you. You should get one a them new fangled sense of humour things. It's loads of fun for you and the missus after you're done picking the wheat chaff out of each others coveralls.

:lol:
PS Those last 2 round smiling things at the end of my post mean that that there's a joke, son!

I think it was 2002 or 2003, when the Eskimos came to town. Only time I've seen that other than the Grey Cup.

I read on the Zone, something to the effect that a few people actually thought Gainer wasn't a gopher....but a, how shall I say this deiscretely?
A poop.
I too, had no clue what he was nor did I care.....but seeing that manure is used by farmers, and those farmers love to throw it around pretty good....I nominate that this brown rodents new name be called.....COILER.
Seems fitting to me.
BTW, what time is the parade?

We discussed male cheerleaders in this thread. Actually, I think it's kind of good that one of the CFL teams have male cheerleaders.

Anyways, it will be interesting if the Trailblazers can make it to the Western Final.
