Gee, do you really thing Buono gives a rats as$ what Migs, or any other Rider fan thinks of him?

Are BC fans going to tell Wally and the Lions to give the Grey Cup back if we win it this year, and Jimenez played?

Those fans who are calling for Jimenez's immediate suspension better turn in their tickets and demand that the Lions forfeit the game if Jimenez is allowed to play. :x :x :x

The_Pauser wrote:This is BULL****!!! The league just successfully took away the Lions 2-week advantage with respect to offensive line preparation by taking a full 9 DAYS to make a decision on something that should have been dealt with in about 3-4.

Jason Jiminez is suspended for a legal play all because a Stampeder suffered a booboo??? GIMME A BREAK!!!

As many have pointed out in the other thread, similar events have happened involving Nik Lewis and Kelly Whiltshire which resulted in NO SUSPENSION.

Wally gets fined for interpreting the rules in a presser, and Jiminez gets suspended for playing WITHIN THE RULES???

A booboo? His leg/ankle was so badly broken he had to have surgery to place a steel plate in his leg, and may not ever play again. If that is your definitition of a booboo then DD just had a headache.

Good post by the way. Dont quite agree with all of it, but good post anyhow

Cheers! And that's the beauty of being alive, isn't it, that we can have differing opinions, and still get along?

Actually... no, it's not safe to say that, unless you actually know JJ as a person.

ugh, now apparently Jason Jimenez is a 2nd rate import offensive lineman. I wish I had the acumen to properly breakdown the play of an O-Lineman because if there is one thing that Jimenez is not, it's 2nd rate. This guy was arguably our best O-Lineman on the season, yes, even ahead of Rob Murphy. And yet these clowns in green decide he's a chump. God, I can't wait for Sunday, I'm so fired up right now.

Don't worry about it. You couldn't anyways. First you'd have to know how many snaps were taken, with JJ on the line. They you'd have to break down from that how many times our QB was rushed/hurried/sacked/passes deflected at the line of scrimmage from that side of the line. Then you'd have to be able to attribute those negatives directly to JJ, and not due to it being the guy beside him, or on a poorly executed stunt by another lineman. It would be a logistical impossibility, let alone nightmare.

The best you could hope to acheive, would just encompass the entire O-line, and do the breakdowns that way. Again, much less impossible, but just as much of a logistical nightmare.

We all know how good he is, and how meaningful and important he is to our O-line, and protection of our QB's. And that's good enough. Soundy is gonna crack up reading this coming from me, but just don't let them get to ya. I am inclined to think that the recent exponential increase in trash talk, is cuz we've let them get to us, too much, and they're now just doing it to push the proverbial buttons. Something I used to suffer with terribly.

So, just let it slide. As someone else has said elsewhere on this board, who gives a rat's ass, really, what any other fans think, other than our own?

I had to learn how to recognize that I was being made irate, and then learn to stop responding. There are still times where I'll type out a scathing response, but fortunately (for the most part) am able to realize it for what it is, me joining in on someone else's *poop*, and as such, I just nuke the message before posting it. HOWEVER... there are occasions where you might want to copy the text into a text document for prosperity!! heheheh

As the cliche goes, "just back away from the keyboard, and don't let them get under your skin".

Just sit and laugh at people who post that stuff, as they are obviously misinformed, and uhhhh.. knobs. heheheh.

Woah! I just realized (yeah, was a bit slow on the uptake there) $200?!?!?! Holy crap, how much were you actually going, over the limit!?!? Heheh, WOW!
50km I suspect......in a school zone........in a combine. In Saskatchewan I believe that is called "street racing". ;-)

However, on this site, we want to let the players know that we do support them until such time as there is definitive proof that someone did something dirty or illegal.

Until such time as you can prove guilt, innocence must be assumed.

I operate under the concept of rationality, prove something, I will believe it. Make blatant assumptions until the cows come home, and nothing else that you say will hold water.

Unless video evidence is presented, or Jimenez comes on here himself and says, "Yes, I did it", he is innocent.

I'm inclined to trust the report of the umpire. The refs have been horrible this season, and deserve most of the criticism thats been thrown at them, but the umpire was right there, and made the call immediately.

If the CFL released the Umpire's report would that make any difference? Its been noted several times that the video of the incident is terrible, and given that the CBC has shown the video already, and will probably show it again means that everyone will have the opportunity to see it. Did you see it prior to the ESF? It was grainy, and not very clear, but its the best thats available.

I don't understand why you're refusing to trust legitimate evidence. Such as eye witness reports of the incident. As I said, the refs are horrible, but you have to make a pretty big stretch to assume that the umpire completely missed the Jimenez hit, and then faked a report.
