Re: Where's Glen Suitor?
Well I missed the Black/Suitor show as I was in the stadium. The in-house announcer 'seemed' to make less mistakes. One big one late when he gave the Argos a first down when in reality they gained 5. He admitted his error but I picked up on it before he realized he'd made it....... Maybe I missed more mistakes. I'll admit I was kinda partial to Saye so its not that the new guy is doing a bad job, hes just not Saye............

That was the only major mistake I noticed too. I wondered if it as a different announcer this week. Either way, kudos to the Lions for the improvement.notahomer wrote:Well I missed the Black/Suitor show as I was in the stadium. The in-house announcer 'seemed' to make less mistakes. As others note it is fan boards that started the rap on Rod Black so I guess many are listening for something that annoys them rather than just enjoy the game.DanoT wrote:Rod Black takes a lot of criticism on this and other fan sites but i thought he did a good job. No mistakes that i noticed and didn't repeat himself too much.
I like the interesting information about players and read on one fan board how that is hated - called it a "bromance." What is the guy supposed to do? I like the interesting stories that to be injected between plays.
Rick Ball is a great but at one point of the game with the Lion still on the ground - he says he's standing. Not a big deal other than to his family back home who now might have to wait a short time more to hear the guy is up (or not).
It's the internet.
I see Byron Parker is taking on Toronto fans and their board comments.
