I have a soft spot in my heart for Centers. So, personally, I'm an Ian Sinclair guy, though I'll defer to the historians on this thread. Except on the following point:
in the USFL, Flutie was arguably the best player,
Off the top of my head, Jim Kelly and Steve Young were better, as were John Corker, Reggie White, Anthony Carter, Mike Rozier (pre injury), Sam Mills, Gary Zimmerman, Irv Eatman and Brian Sipe. The best player in the USFL, on offense, was Herschel Walker. He was really a below average USFL QB, on the level of Rick Neuheisel and Bob Gagliano.

No doubting his CFL greatness, he was ideal for this game. But on the smaller field, he wasn't great.
