It's not only your opinion.WestCoastJoe wrote: Don't want RGM. IMO ...
What they said was they were having interesting developments happening that day.. not that they would be actually able to announce for sure.CatsEyes wrote:ed_lunsford wrote:Dude, by 4pm..we'll see.
And there will be a trade announced today.
SweetJimmyC Nothin like 2:45 am (PT) wake up call. We'll have a
trade to announce later this morning - stay tuned to bclions.comYeah heard THAT one before!
I follow the Seahawks religiously and therefore have been keeping a keen eye on Foley and the only injury I've heard talked about was on the opening kickoff of the first preseason game Foley pulled his groin but refused to be pulled from the game. This possibly effected his performance throughout the preaseason but nothing more. Besides, I highly doubt the Jets would sign someone with a torn groin. And I'm pretty sure there are rules about releasing an injured player.jcalhoun wrote:Hey all,
I was checking out the Seahawks board and apparently Foley tore his groin in the last game. I don't know how serious it is, but if he's injured, he's clearly not going to be ready to go for next week.
Cheers,

I'm sure Wally and Chrisite Buono would like Lumbala back.ed_lunsford wrote:Rolly Lumbala was just waived by Miami, their practice squad has to be set by Noon tomorrow.
JohnHenry wrote:Since Lumbala is a better blocker than Lee and we don't use him offensively, then Lumbala is probably more valuable than Lee.
The biggest problem is Robertson and Lee both whiff many blocks or run right by pass rushers who they should be holding up. That's just bad coaching as those guys have little clue about the blocking schemes. Maybe Rolly learned some blocking in Miami?
Speaking of Foley, this writer claims he received a $100,000 signing bonus by the Seahawks? That's a bit hard to believe, although there were several teams after him...many of whom missed out on the Wake-stakes last season.
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ys-cflnfl083110Foley, who received a $100,000 guarantee from the Seahawks, displayed some ability as a hybrid linebacker/end in Pete Carroll’s “Leo” concept, in which three-man fronts are augmented by a stand-up pass-rusher. The Jets needed to add depth after Calvin Pace(notes) suffered a broken foot. New York was one of the teams that Foley tried out for in April.
“He’ll play that hybrid position in New York,” Sheehy said.
At least Foley still has a chance, which is more than can be said for those players whose options have dwindled as a result of the new CBA. Wake, Foley and Sheehy all agreed that though CFL talent and NFL talent doesn’t match up at every roster spot, there are players with enough talent to make it in the bigger league – and the NFL may never hear from them without the option window.
