Dude - quit already!
Do you know what "pouring salt into the wounds" means? You appearing as an ungracious winner which makes us all (Rider fans) look bad!

I've never seen fans police each other like this. Very strange.

I really don't see how I'm looking ungracious here. Win or lose I would be posting this. Trust me, if I was trying to rub salt in the wounds I would be doing it A LOT differently.

Whatever.
Did the Lions get a penalty for canned noise tonight? Did it affect our game? Don't we always take a few procedure calls every game like every other team in the CFL? No, no and yes = irrelevant.
Just remember - when we (as Rider fans) post here,
we are guests in their house.
Try and show just a
little respect - how would we feel if the outcome had been different tonight and there were people talking smack about us in our backyard?

Some so-called Rider-fans just p*** me off. Go party in your own house and leave the pseudo-trolling to the lowlives. Always take the high road.
Jer Bear - I'm not calling you out for trolling - just please have a little common sense. Would you say things like you're saying tonight to an Lions fan who's upset because their favorite team lost to their face in a bar? If not, then please think twice about hitting "submit".

In this Rider fan's mind, this puts to rest the whole "artificial noise" debate.
As I said, innocent until proven guilty - the Lions were proved innocent tonight
I will defend the Lions organization and their fans - NO CANNED NOISE!
Well done, Lions fans, for putting up with the sh*t for so long and not climbing into a bell tower with a high powered rifle...
You know, I noticed something interesting...
I was up in Level 4 (upper deck) talking to a friend while the teams were doing their pre-game warm-ups, and a fraction of the seats around the stadium were populated. When the Lions left the field, the cheer that went up seemed incredibly loud for the small numbers in there, and seemed to come from everywhere, especially from the roof.
When I was at my regular seat on Level 2 later, even with 50,000+ going nuts on the defense, it didn't seem as loud - I mean, there was lots of noise I could hear right around me, but the "ambient" noise was nowhere near as all-encompassing as when I was on the upper deck, with the roof and all that concrete gathering the sound and concentrating it.
I can see where people might get the mistaken idea that extra "crowd noise" was pumping out of the speakers, because all the sound seemed to emanate down from the roof. But as we've covered, the acoustics in this kind of building can be tricky.

I noticed the same thing when I was there for the Montreal game. We were in the upper deck as well.

Vern (cool name by the way 8) ), don't sweat it. Lion fans piss me off as well sometimes, but there's nothing you can really do. You should've heard a few callers on the Lions post game show tonight... :x :x :x

Speaking of Rider-fans that piss other Rider-fans off....I'm not going to lie buddy, you're kinda starting to get on my nerves. I don't think I've made a post in the last couple of days that you haven't taken it upon yourself to critisize me afterwards. Like I've said in other threads I am not a troll by definition. I may have quite different opinions compared to everyone else on here, I also might sometimes appear "classless" as some have pointed out, but the bottom line is for the most part my posts are fairly intelligent.
You're a good sport and a classy guy, I get it and the posters here at Lionbackers get it. But you're starting to get a little annoying with your over-the top ass-kissing towards BC. If I didn't know any better I would honestly say that you're a Lions fan posing as a Rider fan. So whatever, think I'm classless and casting a bad shadow on the Rider Nation but I'm just one guy giving my humble opinion from behind a pair of fairly dark green tinted glasses.

I'm sorry you feel that way. Onwards from this point, cool? Say what you will.
