Either way, Calvillo wouldn't play again this year so they had no choice.Rammer wrote:AC has been placed on the injury list until after GC according to SN Ontario. This is a very nice move by the Als, at the sacrifice of their season/playoffs to a degree, at least you have to think so as an outsider at this point.
Having a difficult time with that letter, but it will be passed along, thanks Kirk is #1.Kirk is #1 wrote:The Alouettes have set up a get well book for anyone who wants to send them best wishes.

As much as they'll be fired up for Calvillo, Maas really hasn't "Played" football for 2 years.120dB wrote:don't count out Montreal; they may be tougher now than you may think
the Als players will rally; if B.C. and Montreal meet in the Grey Cup, that will be one hell of an event and an emotional game too

MONTREAL (CP) -- Montreal Alouettes quarterback Anthony Calvillo says his wife is responding well to treatment two weeks after being diagnosed with lymphoma.
"She's doing good," an emotional Calvillo said. "She's had one chemo (treatment) and she had no side effects.
"We've had a lot of support from our families and one thing that really helps is the support she's getting from the city and around the league."
Calvillo said while he won't be back with the team this season, he's confident his wife's condition will improve to the point where he will be able to resume his career next season.
Earlier this season Calvillo signed a one-year contract extension with the Alouettes taking him through next year.
