Orangeshoes99 said it best. Lions earned Home Field, as did the Stamps. To spoil that by allowing other teams' entourages cheats the fans of the team that earned the home playoff date.

Want Gainer Sask fans? Play better, and earn a home playoff game. Until then, keep the imported rodents out of our fair Province.

Lions have nothing to fear, I hear you though on the earning the right for homefield advantage. Gainer won't do anything but prance around the sidelines without any Rider fanfare to play to. No sense to get up tight about him patroling the sidelines, IMHO. In fact it may be a great way for the Rider faithful to realize the limit of actual Rider fans at the Dome.

Oh I don't care personally about it riling up the Rider fans, Rammer.

I just enjoy how much the whole thing RILES UP the Rider fans. They seem to forget about what's important, and worry about some guy in a rat suit.

Besides, they need a playoff game. Really.

Agreed except for the last part, they need to live close to the table, but don't need to eat from it, as it is rather entertaining to see the close but no cigar happening yearly.

Great in theory Solar. However, if Gainer waits for a home playoff game in Sasky, he'll be one ancient rodent. The last time Gainer attended a home playoff game Trudeau was P.M., gas was 19 cents litre and colour T.V. was new. The average gopher's life is 2 years keep in mind.

And the problem with this is what exactly?

A geriatric ward for Gainer would be fine, thanks. He can leave his walker at the Rider bench.

I guess cheerleaders aren't troublemakers, but mascots are.

Incidentally, notwithstanding the Grey Cup game, does anybody remember the last time a visiting team's cheerleaders participated in a home Lions game at BC Place?

I noticed that the Trailblazers are at McMahon Stadium today.

Calgary benefits financially from Rider Priders who buy tickets to games at McMahon. If I were the Stamps I'd be pandering to the stubble jumpers by allowing their rat to come to the game. Anything to encourage the rider fans to keep making the road trip to Calgary.

Just like good teams rise to the level of their competition, good fans do likewise. A couple thousand Rider fans in the stadium encourages the Stamps fans to turn up it a notch or two.

It is pretty syupid that they let the cheerleaders in but not the rodent .... also now that I think about it ..... because Calgyra runs that mule down the VISITORS sideline they really are being poor sports :thdn:

Since they were at McMahon Stadium, I now wonder whether the Trailblazers will be at BC Place.

The rotten little rodent can come to BC place as long as he stays in his hole.

Come on Jim. How are we to play Wack-a-Mole if he doesn't at least poke his head out once in a while?
