Yeah, I also remember the first White Spot on Granville and W. 67th Ave in the Marpole district. It was very sad to see it burn down in a kitchen fire in January 1986. It was even sadder that there were no plans to rebuild it. Today, several chain stores and restaurants exist at that location.

There are still a few White Spot's that have the Drive-In option. In Vancouver, the ones on SW Marine near Knight and W. Broadway, and in Burnaby, the one on Lougheed near Boundary still have it. Do any of you choose the drive-in option?

Harvey's burgers kick ass! :rockin:
The downside is there are no stand alone restaurants outside of Vancouver Airport. Home Depot is home to all in BC.

Still, I have yet to check out Fat Burger or Vera's because a certain unnamed individual whose first name starts with S won't go with me. :bawl: Not even out drinking after the SOHO!

So far, Harvey's seems to be the favourite, despite the fact that as BC49 mentioned, their locations are not very convenient as they are all located inside a Home Depot. I remember there used to be a Harvey's near Granville St in downtown.

I've been to Fatburger in Washington State, but not in BC. Apparently, there are two Fatburger's in BC that I did not know of:

LANGLEY
Unit 101 20125 64th Avenue
Langley, BC V2Y 1M9
P: 604-628-7026
F: 778-786-1325

VANCOUVER
1101 Denman St.
Vancouver, BC V6G 2M7
P: 604-689-8858
F: 604-689-8545

White Spot has a drive in at Lougheed and North Road as well.

I do that one every couple of years.

interesting, it seems that only 21 lionbackers like hamburgers at all.

Very interesting.

Maybe Lionbackers have become more health conscious after watching the movie "Super Size Me".

Or only that many like polls in the pub done without putting up Vera's Hamburgers, Burger Heaven, or the Lion fans discount Fatburgers.

and white spot.

Maybe someone should do an alternative burger poll, then a poll with the winner of that poll against the winner of this poll. and then....

In Vancouver (Kits) - Vera's Burger Shack

If you ever find yourself in one of California, Nevada or Arizona, you must try one of these places - In-N-Out. Simply amazing. I only wish they had them in Washington. I only get to California twice a year and I always make sure I have at least one. There is one in Vegas too for when you're sick of buffets.
