Time to clean out the coaches from this team, they suck large.

Anyone who gives JC a pass on this one is not watching. He gets his QB gunning a 30 yarder to miss and set up a 57 yarder PM FG - dumb, dumb dumb.

I am watching on line and guys on that site are all saying the same thing - not Stamps fans though.

Did you see the defender knock it out of his hands?

How are you going to call two deep passes with time running out when you only need say..10 yds to get into comfortable McCallum FG range?

That was painfully not wise.

Why with the game on the line and no timeouts is our best receiver running a one yard pattern, and why is our QB throwing to him?

Why is there a one yard pattern in the playbook?

Yep, no argument from me there, they could have run clear outs, thrown the ball into the middle of the field, and easily picked up those 10 yds they realistically needed, that was bad.

Well aside from the Lions not being able to run the ball (now I kind of side with JC about not using the run), not catching the ball in the first half, our defensive tackling cost us this game. Lions have to sharpen up, or get a priest into exercise the demons within the first half of the season/game that seem apparent.

Didn't like the decision to go for two early.

What was the reason for blowing the timeout? Too many men or coaching decision?

He goes down to catch a ball thrown low and behind him, and in trying to tuck the ball away a defender knocks it out of his hands. I don't call that a drop.

I like a 3-4 defence, but not this 3-4. How do you completely switch schemes but keep the same personnel and DC?

Take a bow Chappy, you cost us another game!!

That might be the worst play calling in a series that I have ever seen on the last drive. We needed 20 yards for a footgoal to win and we are going for 40 yard bombs. Once again the non-existant running game limits our options.

More or less, suspect we see more Peterson playing, unless Wally just really likes the young guys skills.

Once again, a tale of two halves, putrid first half, explosive second half.

T Lulay is just a mystery to me, first half his throws were off, just enough that the Wr's had to bail him out and the weren't, second half, he was throwing darts.

Plus side, the Oline and Scheme handled the Stamps blitzes well I thought.

BTW..didn't each one of our TO's cost us points? I think they did?

True, however "if":

Robertson manages to bring in that 2 pt convert
Geroy manages to bring in his 2 pt convert
If we did not have 6 other drops
If brown does not fumble on the 10 yd line
if ST does not consistently give up long returns

Etc etc, not all of it falls on Chap.

I agree, my list of "'grievances" with this team is longer than yours; however my biggest beef with the game was despite all our issues, we had a chance to win the game and poor play calling cost us a chance to kick a winning FG( in decent range anyways). It is three down territory and we go for the long bombs. No short sideline routes or other 4-6 yard plays. The lack of any running threat allows the defence to concentrate on pass coverage.
