Interesting they left Reilly in for that one. They just converted a shorter gamble with Lynch.

Bighill with the pick on the deflection sets up BC in the red zone.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

Bighill with a big pick of a ball. First down Lions in the red zone. They need to convert on this scoring chance after leaving points in the field in their last two possessions.

Wasting no time after the Bighill pick, Marco in goal dives for the 15yd TD ball from Jennings. 22-7 BC. Convert is good, 23-7 BC.

Simpson lugs it into the red zone when he should have been tackled to bring up 3rd down. Tack on an UR flag and it's 1st & goal.

3rd & goal @BC1YL as Q3 winds down. Lynch in at QB ruled in on the sneak for a TD. 23-13 BC with the convert to come. Tedford is challenging but no need as command centre reviews all scores.

The TD stands and BC gets an objectionable conduct for illegal challenge, applied on the 2PC. Reilly throws to Walker for the deuce. 23-15 BC as Q3 ends.

Tedford should know the rules. A bone-headed challenge helps the Esks score a 2-point convert.

Does Teddy ever watch a CFL game? This guy seems to have a lot to learn about the rules in our league.

Rod Black seems to know more about the rules in the CFL than our head coach.

Clarke and Hoffman Ellis both had chances to halt that drive. Now pressure on offence to move the ball with no running game.

Why do we keep handing off for naught on first down?
