But Lions are finding out Friday nights are not attracting fans from outside the Lower Mainland or young families the way the 4 pm Saturdays do. Post Labour Day games are not the automatic uptick in attendance anymore either. Last year's late season 1st place showdown with the Bombers attracting under 25,000 on a Friday made it pretty clear. It could be even uglier for the Hamilton game 2 Fridays from now after that performance then Calgary again a week later.
I think you're missing that with the Whitecaps on able to play at home on Saturday nights (there is a very occasional Sunday) in the second half of the season in particular that is not available for the Lions.

Perhaps Sunday at 4 might be an option to consider ?

One of the interesting things about Devonne Claybrooks is that he was replaced by coach with a worse record the previous season and two new coordinators that were and still are first time holders of the position and now going on their 5th year.
