One thing to remember this is the team Rick Campbell / Neil McEvoy wanted. If they are your people, they need the authority to go along with the responsibility. If organizational objectives fail to be met they are the ones that need be held accountable. Doman intervening in football ops is not the answer imo. They need to know themselves without being told that Thursday was not a good showing.
Rick Lelacheur deciding to fire Chris Jones still boggles my mind. Makes him the resident football expert despite not having the football ops connections necessary to make good decisions. Starts a next man up and all of a sudden you have offensive co-ordinators who are learning on the job. Not to say they are not good people.
Also for the record I am expecting Edmonton to go after Rick Campbell for next year being as he is the only one Lelacheur knows.

If I am Doman, I am calling a meeting first thing Monday for Vienneau, McEvoy, and Campbell to get to the bottom of that disgrace on Thursday night. That was an organizational embarrassment. Tied for the fewest first downs in club history. Against a losing ball club. Let that sink in.
They were out-coached, lackadaisical, and ill-prepared despite the bye week. The defence, at least, looked like they were trying but got worn down by all the 2 and outs.
You just can’t sweep a loss like that under the carpet. Every team has a game once a season where they play like *poop*/uncharacteristic etc. And you flush it and move on. That was the Calgary game. This was so tragically bad it was different. Hard question need to he asked. Like do they even have the right personnel? Is it coaching? Leadership? I believe it’s a solid locker room with guys like Mackie and TJ Lee. I guess we’ll learn more in the weeks ahead…

I was thinking soon after the Thursday debacle what a buzz kill that was for the rest of the organization when you still have about 10,000 expensive Grey Cup tickets to sell over the next 3 months never mind that same Bombers team here in 2 weeks.
Noticed for the first time their social media content team did not release their typical post game video with usually terrific on field footage for obvious reasons. Not ideal when you are paying people to be there to film it.
We have heard the drop 8 and spy VA is the formula the Stamps & Bombers used to shutdown the offence but there has to be way more to it than that.
Winnipeg has been for the most part smothering this offence for going on 3 seasons.
It sure seems like a coaching mismatch as the staffs have been relatively intact since 2021.
Is it no in game adjustments or a mentally fragile starting QB that sees his lack of confidence snowball as the hole gets deeper? Likely the combination of both but if it’s the latter then why aren’t they pulling him for at least a series or two?
If they don’t lean more on their running game with Dolegala or Brice under centre then they never will. And is it any coincidence the offensive line has played very poorly in the two games their expensive starting centre has been a part of?
