32 - 0.
Wham. Mickey Mouse, amateur hour game planning vs state of the art preparation.

Great start for the Stamps. The Lions are looking worse on every possession. Big plays were the weak spot of this defence all year. It sucks the life out of the team to give up a big completion.

Next year I'm gonna watch the season in reverse...that way its only one game of misery, not an entire season of waiting for the inevitable

Wally may have a stellar record in the regular season but his playoff record is mediocre at best

Half time adjustments --> Hit 'em harder. LOL
Space Age vs Old School.
The progression, BC vs Calgary. We win. We blow a lead and lose in overtime. We get blown out. We get blown out.
But it ain't on the coaches.

What clinic by Dickinson and his staff. Lions should head to YYC and just jump on the next flight back to Surrey. Absolute garbage.

The first two games of the season were so close...basically the same personnel on both teams with a couple of changes...and then the third game and now this first half, the totally dominate us.
Just can't figure out why we just stopped 'executing' the last two games and Calgary just got 'executing' so much better...like about 5 times better.
Must be a secret to that 'executing'.
Wally fired Benevedes after the playoff loss to Montreal, where we were wiped out, because he said the team didn't continue to play hard and with pride through that playoff game.
Our offence has been shut out by Calgary for the past four quarters of action against them...last half of the last regular season game and the first half of this game. They've whipped our defense for the past four quarters of action, as well.
We gotta come out at half time and start 'executing' like hell.
Plus I hope our coaching staff may have an idea or two, as well.

Calgary had four pass plays of over 30 yards in the first half, including two TDs and a pass interference penalty that set up a TD. Add the pick-six and that's four easy TDs, two on Stewart, one in Edem and one on Jennings. They're all mistakes in execution but the Stamps know the Lions' weaknesses and exploited them successfully.

BC 5 penalties, 75 yards.
Calgary 0 penalties.
It is the chocolate box for the viewer. Is this embarrassment on the players or the coaches?
Some will say it is poor execution.
Some will say it is poor preparation by the staff. I lean toward this idea.
Wally's words at the half. Stay calm. Hit them hard. Execute. Good stuff, but the game planning is done, and it was not good enough.
Time to regain some respect.

Leone had the Stamps deep in their end several times but the Lions couldn't hold them. Demoralizing

Stamps on pace for 700 yards in total offence. My goodness.

Solly was just interviewed and he said Wally told them that they just need to calm down and execute. I chuckled.
