But the positives:
The Lions know how to stick their hands in ice. Worked on that all week.
Rod Black isn't calling this game.
I thought you came around and thought he was ok? LOL. (I posted that as someone said he the positive was Rod B. was not doing the game.
Gord Miller is fine but I love the Rod Black stories (mini Brian Williams type stuff) about players.
Where is Black?

Wish Simon's 100th TD catch could have come in better circumstances. :/

Who here believes in Mike Reilly and how he may be able to help our Leos win another GC?

I think some got confused and stuck their heads in the ice instead.
On a side note I believe that ice thing was an old Ron Lancaster trick. Supposedly he did that during games back in the day.

Did someone say this isn't all on Reilly???? On offence it is...
TD throw to Simon but he was 30 yards wide open...Reilly is telegraphing all of his throws...

Not doing this game which, at the moment, is it's only saving grace.
But you know what? My only goal for this game was getting out of it healthy. So I'm not going to sweat it. Next week is significantly more important, because you want to go into the bye on a high note.
That said, make note that Calgary continues to send delayed blitzes that the Lions offense continues to not prepare for. The Riders made a habit of this as well.

In the brief time we have watched Reilly at QB, he is INCREDIBLY NERVOUS out there (not a good thing at all), he does not look off receivers, he throws a lot off of his back foot, and has a slow release due to his poor arm motion...
Anyone who thinks that this is a "for sure" #1 starter some day, is out to lunch...he needs a LOT of work to see if he can get better...

McCallum puts the ball down on the 30 for the kickoff.
That just speaks volumes about where the players' heads were coming into this game.
