Re: Lions @ Eskimos, Game Day Thread, September 22

Lulay is struggling MASSIVELY...flat out...no protection issues, he now has a running game...he has open receivers, he has all the time to throw, and is CONSTANTLY MISSING HIS READS...that is Lulay's issue, not Chaps and not the OLine...

Poor effort by Simon (AGAIN) on the 2nd down throw...

I have seen enough of McCallum this season...

When Eskimoes were in a spot like this they always demonstrated how to manufacture wins

Can't get out of their own way tonight, great D series results in what should be great field position and a needless hold on the return costs them the return plus 10 yards.

Bruce looks like he's going to lead the team back on his own, great to see this fire from him. Can only hope that the rest of the O picks that up.

I wonder what the DEF players were chatting about on the side? It seemed to sort itself out okay.

Harris was limping on that last play out of the pile. Not good.

The Lions dominated the third quarter but didn't get any points out of it. It's like the teams switched offences at half time. Lulay is throwing quick-hitters and Jyles is standing in the pocket and getting hit.

Defence has come to play in the 2nd half, especially front 4.

Another Very good drive constructed by Chaps...it is up to Lulay to give the ball to his playmakers and let them make plays...Lulay is NOWHERE close to MOP standards this season, but all he has to do is get the ball to his play makers...stop trying to do everything himself...tons of talent on the Lions...

McCallum is struggling...

Saw Harris limping as well, not good indeed.

By the looks of the body language, Kareem Smith was likely hot at Mitchell for something, and based upon what I've seen of Mitchell tonight Mitchell was likely disrespectful of him or someone else.

FFS Johnson! That's inexcusable on a play like that.

Even before the fumble, from kickoff I've been confused as to why KJ is in the lineup instead of E. Jackson - Jackson has played well, and the Offence has been fairly solid in recent games. He should have stayed in, and Johnson would have to wait for his opportunity. Poor coaching decision, IMO.
