I believe Calgary lost both their challenges

Another red zone falter. However we were looking more sharp, hope to build on that.

Poor ole Rod Black probably can't find his cue cards in time to call the plays. Is that too mean? LOLHeathcliff wrote:Could not agree more. It's nice having a play-by-play guy actually calling the plays as they happen!WestCoastJoe wrote:Matt Devlin a good announcer. Time to farm Black out.

The first one is hard to reckon because it seems there were three possibilities: imcomplete to Gore, complete + down, complete + fumble + Bruce gain. But I think only the outcome of the second one matters as far as time outs go.TheLionKing wrote:I believe Calgary lost both their challenges
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

Defence and special teams are both playing well. The offence has done just enough so far. Time for the dagger.
