On that Keon Hatcher non-catch, non touchdown, it looked as if his hand came down on the line at the exact same time his foot came down in bounds, so it should have been ruled incomplete/out of bounds regardless of whether he had maintained control of the ball

It's a down time for our Leo's. Everything looks bad after a loss, Easy to pick apart everything and believe me there is a lot to pick apart.

Hopefully we can get it together and make the playoffs the west division is tough and the league has a lot of parity. The season is a bunch of peaks and valleys and right now we are in a valley.

Cant dwell on what happened today so I hope they can continue to get better and hopefully peak in the playoffs.

The correct call was made. Asking a lot of the receiver there and just didn't quite complete the catch.

My issue with the command centre decision is that not only did Hatcher catch the ball with control while in bounds (making it a dead ball), but he still had control when his hand touched the side line (another dead ball situation) and still had control when his back landed on the ground out of bounds (a third dead ball situation). Hatcher didn’t lose control until after the ball should have been considered dead. It’s like how a player can not fumble the ball after breaking the plane of the goal line. As soon as the touch down is scored the ball is dead.

Once again the lack of an O and D line comes to bite this team. Same problems the last 5+ years. Other teams seem to make personal changes for the positive and Lions fail each year.

That was ugly. Point blank. For NR, Marketing, fans, no winners.

Ugh... So I watched the away game vs Calgary and thought: "1 point loss, this is football we're not invincible, we'll bounce back."

So I watched the away game vs Winnipeg where we were shut out and I thought: " Wow, that was embarrassing, poor schemes and preparation, this is our 'rock bottom' wake up call. VA will heal, we'll bounce back."

So I WENT TO EDMONTON and I thought: "We're deeper than our QB, that was a tough game but we are so talented we will bounce back."

So we got Nathan back and although I didn't expect domination, I expected the rest of the team to STEP UP and HELP.

They may have 'tried',.. Emotions are raw... But I am disappointed I have invested a lot of time, treasure and travel in to the Lions this year and I'm not feeling that same effort back.

The offensive line played great. Stanback had his first 100-yard game, averaging 6.7 yards per carry, and the Lions out-rushed the Bombers despite some big garbage-time runs by the Bombers. Each team had 2 sacks but the Bomber sacks were coverage sacks as Rourke held the ball looking to make a play downfield.

Hatcher still needed to survive contact / secure possession when his back hit the turf, and I saw clearly on the replay that when his back hit the turf his left hand with the ball snapped back toward his head and the ball came loose.

Your points are fair but it seems on that play the dead-ball scenarios were not applicable. Keeping possession on contact was.

I thought that decision wasn't the best decision they could have made. It sure seemed close.

It was if they watched BC's practices as I did on the longer balls wide and deep. They were basically just waiting for the INT.
