Re: Lions at Bombers August 1, 2024
This game is the very flower of why I have misgivings about this team. This is not the performance you expect from a top tier team. You expect the Bombers to be tough at home but the Lions havn't done a thing. And this is the knock on this team. They have an opportunity to keep the top spot in the west after a weeks rest, team healthy and they absolutely crap the bed. Really good teams finds ways to make things work. This team has a bad habit of not showing up when it matters.
Tell me how long must a fan be strong? Ans. Always.

The offense is so LAME, that the D is forced into mistakes. We've been punching above our weight all season which is in indictment against the CFL as a whole.

Gotta hand it to the Bombers. They watched film and adjusted their game plan to take away our offensive tendencies and are patient on offense nickel and dining our conservative D

Rubber match should be interesting. Lions take pride and all that.

I find it hard to believe

Last week the Lions couldn't fall on a fumble and kick a FG to win. This week the offense can't even get a first down.
Lions of 2024 looking like Lions of 2022,2023.....

Haunting familiar to last season. A really bad night for organization and what they are supposedly building towards the last 3 years
Re: Lions at Bombers August 1, 2024
This is looking yet again very much a Rick Campbell coached team. Inconsistent, unreliable, unprepared, and ill-disciplined.Sir Purrcival wrote: Thu Aug 01, 2024 7:39 pm This game is the very flower of why I have misgivings about this team. I wonder how long a leaah Campbell is on from Doman. 2 consecutive losses becomes 3, 4, one win in five I think it gets yanked.

Well that was embarrassing.

Ownership is to blame. Fill the stadium by hiring pre game musical acts. Spend the money on athletic talent and competent coaching. I'm so unimpressed
