I don't know what happened to the BC Defense but it has been very human the last 4 weeks.

2 and out. Early in the season, the D was playing so well, it covered somewhat for deficiencies on the O. Now the D looks porous, the O isn't able to sustain enough production to make up for the loss of opportunities the D used to provide. So now we see that the O is not what it was last year, the D looked to be better early but now is reverting to form and the results are showing in the Win/Loss columns.

Old problems have been creeping into the Lions game the past month: bad penalties, lack of a kick return game, poor tackling, defence turning soft….

Too many men and they still couldn't make a stop. The wheels are officially off this cart.

I see Montreal had a 12 yard FB catch and run. Do we even have a FB? ( I know we do, just being snide)Sir Purrcival wrote: ↑Sat Sep 02, 2023 6:05 pmLet's not forget an anemic run gameswervynmerv wrote: ↑Sat Sep 02, 2023 6:03 pmOld problems have been creeping into the Lions game the past month: bad penalties, lack of a kick return game, poor tackling, defence turning soft….

That's the most frustrating part. It's like you know that there are other options out there to try once in awhile but they never do. Cottoy goes largely unused. Our running game is basically Vernon Adams, Lucky is no longer lucky, it just seems to be getting worse. On D, we just seem to have deteriorated in all areas.
