Nathan Rourke was the biggest story for the Lions and the league in the first half of the 2022 season, but midseason stats show that there's a lot more to this Lions team than Rourke. While the Lions lead the league in many offensive statistics, the receivers and O-line deserve a lot of credit for that production. And the B.C. defence ranks first or second in at least 20 key categories, one more than the offence. (Special teams rankings were covered in another recent thread.)

Here's how Lions rank on offence and defence after 9 games (some teams have played 10 games):

OFFENCE:

4th - Rushing yards per game (100.1)

This team is a lot more than one player. Roarke is a phenom for sure. Friday's game will be heavily scrutinized to see how the team responds to adversity.

What about the ranking for special teams? Do we want to know?
