So, if he twists his hat a 1/4" turn to the left, they're winning?
We got a new young HC to replace a dinosaur who sports a new fashion style that the players admire.... what more could you want? A serious, no-nonsense football team that comes to compete each and every night... nope, these spoiled ones are the type to celebrate a single good play when their team is being blown out... agreed.... pathetic!Ray Nettles Ghost wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2019 9:18 pmSo, what do all of you Experts have to say now?

So of all our big signings n the off-season has anyone impressed or shown they deserve their money?
The jury is out on Reilly cause he has ZERO protection. But what about Chung, Grymes, Carter?
Durant has been OK

Cottoy needs to see more balls thrown his way and Roy seems to be playing better than the veteran olinemen around him.seamack3 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2019 8:57 pmYoung Canadian kids on the Eskimos are doing fine... no CFL issue at all. The issue is Hervey overpaid for his QB and the team is paying the price... not really any surprise.

Why is Reilly still out there ?
That was ugly. The Lions are a poorly coached team that continues to kill itself with mental mistakes and breakdowns at key moments.
I felt bad for the defence in the first half. Four of the six Eskimo drives started at their own 54 yard line or in B.C. territory but the Lions held them to 16 points and 122 yards of offence. Yet the defence gave up touchdowns of 77 and 28 yards on the first two Edmonton possesions of the second half. Game over.
The blame for this one lies mostly with the offence, though. The offensive line was overmatched but hat was only part of the story. The Lions knew exactly what the Eskimos were doing but they didn’t do anythig to counter it. Mike Reilly continued to hold the ball on the pocket, waiting for receivers to get open downfield on slow-developing routes. On one sack the Lions sent three receivers downfield 40 yards on go routes. Many QBs are hard to sack because they get he ball out quickly. The Lions continue to sit in the pocket and wait for the inevitable chaos to unfold. Blame the coaches for the game planning. Blame the offensive line for losing physical battles and not picking up stunts. Blame the receivers for not making adjustments and helping the QB. Blame the QB for continuing to stand in the pocket and expect a different result. They all share in this one.
