Both teams looking to rebound from last week's loss. Lions have a lot to prove after laying an egg last week against Calgary. Michael Brooks returns to the lineup which should help bolster the defensive line. The other change see Anthony Allen replace Jeremiah Johnson in the backfield. Trevor Harris returns for the RedBlacks.
It could be a long night for the Lions' Defence if they do not get pressure early and often on Harris. Hopefully they have corrected the issue of the open receivers in the flat (where Calgary had huge success last week).
Jennings and the offence tend to bounce back well after losses this season. It will be a close game tonight.

Going to be interesting. Disappointed that we did not make any offensive line changes. Was hoping to see Steward starting again and even Vaillencourt.
Great that Allen is getting the start..and hope he plays well. Brooks is a welcome return on the defensive line. Hope Gaitor plays well....Lee and especially Clarke played some very good football at boundary halfback before they were injured.

I don't favor Ottawa to win. Just as they hurried burris back to soon, I think they have done the same with harris. Away teams have better record and Ottawa is reeling.Blitz wrote:Ottawa is favored to win this game.squishy35 wrote:It could be a long night for the Lions' Defence if they do not get pressure early and often on Harris. I hope the Lions haven't brought Brooks back too soon. They also have Turner on the 46 man roster but will he dress or be a healthy scratch?KnowItAll wrote:I don't favor Ottawa to win. Ottawa has the best net offence in the CFL and the best passing offence in the CFL, both in terms of yardage and pass completion rate.
Our Leos are the best rushing team in the CFL. Ottawa defends the run better than any other CFL team. We give up the 7th most yardage per run. But we are second in total sacks, so our defense is better at getting to the opposing quarterback and we also dont' allow the number of sacks that Ottawa does.
We are more a quick strike offence whereas Ottawa's offence chews up yardage.
Ottawa is the most penalized team in the CFL.

Offensive line doing their job giving Jennings time to throw
That last play looked good. Jennings had tons of time and usually that can lead to a coverage sack as Ottawa had good coverage. Nobody was even near JenningsTheLionKing wrote:Offensive line doing their job giving Jennings time to throw
